Created in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) and inspired by the Japanese tradition of Tsukimi (月見), this limited-edition PawBijou captures a little of the magic, warmth and togetherness surrounding the autumn moon.

Celebrated across many East and Southeast Asian cultures in different ways, the Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally a time for gathering with loved ones, admiring the full moon and celebrating togetherness.

In Japan, Tsukimi (月見) — literally meaning “moon viewing” — is a tradition centred around appreciating the beauty of the autumn moon.

And beneath our shimmering golden moon sits a very special little character… 🐇

The moon rabbit appears in folklore across several Asian cultures, with different stories surrounding the rabbit believed to live upon the moon. In Japan, it is known as tsuki no usagi (月の兎), while the Jade Rabbit is also a familiar figure associated with the moon in Chinese tradition.

Our Tsukimi PawBijou brings these autumn-moon inspirations together in one tiny keepsake — a shimmering golden full moon, delicate Japanese-inspired cloud motifs and a little white rabbit gazing beneath the moonlight.

Each charm is finished with a beautiful Sakura Clasp, a delicate cherry-blossom-shaped keyring chosen especially to complement this limited edition. 🌸

And hidden inside the moon is a clever little secret...

We can programme it for you before it leaves the Paws Atelier studio, or you can leave it blank and make it your own later using a compatible NFC-writing app.

How It Works

Simply hold a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone close to the back of your PawBijou. A notification should appear on the phone — tap it to open the programmed link.

NFC performance and reading position may vary depending on the smartphone model, phone case, device settings and surrounding materials.

Care Instructions

To keep your PawBijou looking its best:

• Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth
• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners or solvents
• Do not submerge in water
• Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight
• Remove before rough play, crate time or unsupervised activity
• Do not bend, puncture or deliberately damage the charm, as this may affect the internal NFC chip
