About BioThane® and Customisation
What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is a waterproof, durable, and easy-to-clean material made of a polyester webbing with a PVC or TPU coating. It offers the look and feel of leather while being more resistant to wear and tear, making it an excellent choice for pet collars and leashes.

Can I customise the collar and leash?
Of course! You can personalise your BioThane® collar and leash by choosing colours, sizes, hardware finishes, and embossing your furkid’s name. You can also choose to add on resin beads or Austria crystals for that extra bling ✨
What sizes do you offer?
All the collars are made to measure (except for the Adjustable Collars range). Please check our measuring guide and sizing guide, or contact us with your pet’s measurements for a custom fit.
What hardware options are available?
Our BioThane® collars and leashes come with hardware in solid brass.
For most durability, we recommend Gold.

How do I measure my pet for the correct size?
To ensure the perfect fit, measure your pet’s neck using a soft measuring tape, allowing 2 fingers to fit between the collar and their neck for comfort. For leashes, select a length based on your preferred control and walking style.
How do I care for my BioThane® collar and leash?
Simply wipe down with a damp cloth or rinse with mild soap and water. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or prolonged submersion in water to extend the life of the product. A Care Guide will be sent to you together with every order.
Are BioThane® collars safe for dogs with sensitive skin?
Yes! BioThane® is hypoallergenic and gentle on your pet’s skin, making it a great option for pets prone to irritation from traditional materials.

All our products (except for Martingale Collar and Phone Sling) are made with solid brass hardwares.
Gold Solid Brass Hardware is a premium choice for pet collars, leashes, and accessories, offering both strength and timeless elegance. Made from solid brass, it is naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting durability even in outdoor conditions. Its rich gold finish adds a classic and luxurious touch, making it both functional and stylish. Gold Solid Brass Hardware is more durable than other colours in terms of corrosion resistance and longevity, especially in harsh outdoor environments.
Silver Solid Brass Hardware combines durability with a sleek, modern look, making it an excellent choice for pet collars, leashes, and accessories. Crafted from solid brass with a silver-toned finish, it is naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance in all weather conditions. Therefore if it is used on rough surfaces (such as dragging on concrete ground), the coating will come off, revealing the brass underneath.

About La Pawchette
What is La Pawchette designed for?
La Pawchette is designed to carry dog treats during walks, training sessions, and outings. It can also hold small personal items such as keys or waste bag rolls, depending on size and capacity.
Is La Pawchette waterproof?
La Pawchette is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light splashes or brief contact with moisture. However, it is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water.
Can my dog chew or play with La Pawchette?
No. La Pawchette is not a dog toy and is not designed to withstand chewing or rough play. Damage caused by pets is not covered under returns or exchanges.
How do I clean La Pawchette?
We recommend:
- Wash in warm water with mild dish soap 🫧 after each use
- Dry fully before your next adventure 🐾
Will the colour fade over time?
With normal use, slight changes in colour or finish may occur over time, particularly with frequent friction, exposure to sunlight, or contact with oils from treats or hands. This is considered normal wear and adds to the character of the product.
Is La Pawchette suitable for all dog owners?
La Pawchette is designed for dog owners who want a balance of function and aesthetics. If you require a heavy-duty, tactical, or fully waterproof treat pouch, La Pawchette may not be the best fit.
Can I return La Pawchette if it shows wear after use?
We do not accept returns or exchanges for items showing signs of use, wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery. Please inspect your La Pawchette upon arrival and contact us immediately if there is a manufacturing defect.
Are there slight variations between products?
Yes. Due to the nature of small-batch production, minor variations in colour or finish may occur. These do not affect functionality and are not considered defects.

What is Paw Bijou?
Paw Bijou is a collection of personalised charms and decorative accessories designed as thoughtful finishing touches for your furkid’s everyday essentials.
Each piece is design-led, lightweight, and created to complement Paws Atelier products.
What material is Paw Bijou made from?
Paw Bijou items are 3D printed in high-quality PLA.
PLA (polylactic acid) is a plant-based material, derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. It is widely used for design-led objects due to its smooth finish, lightweight feel, and ability to hold fine detail.
PLA is considered a more sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics, while remaining suitable for everyday accessory use when used as intended.
Is PLA safe for dogs?
Yes — PLA is widely used in consumer products and is suitable for accessories when used as intended.
Paw Bijou is not a toy and should not be chewed. As with all pet accessories, supervision is recommended.
Are Paw Bijou items suitable for everyday use?
Paw Bijou pieces are suitable for everyday walks and normal use.
They are not designed for rough play, chewing, or high-impact activities and should be removed during unsupervised play or crate time.
How big are Paw Bijou charms?

I can’t find my furkid’s breed — what should I do?
We’re always growing the Paw Bijou breed collection.
If your furkid’s breed isn’t listed, you’re welcome to send us a DM with your furkid’s breed and we’ll let you know whether it’s something we’re able to add.
If you’d prefer to order right away, choosing the closest-looking breed often works beautifully.
How do I care for my Paw Bijou?
To keep your Paw Bijou looking its best:
