Made-to-Order & Personalised Items

Many Paws Atelier products are made to order and may include personalisation such as names, colours, sizes, or design selections.

Please review all selections and personalisation details carefully before placing your order. Items that are personalised or made to order are created specifically for you and are therefore non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless faulty.

Colour Representation

We aim to represent colours as accurately as possible across our website.

Please note that colours may appear slightly different on screen compared to the finished product due to photography lighting, printing processes, material differences, and individual screen or device display settings.
Minor colour variation is normal and does not constitute a fault.

Materials & Care

Paws Atelier products are made using a variety of carefully selected materials, including BioThane®, hardware components, and 3D-printed elements such as PLA.

Specific care instructions are provided on individual product pages where applicable. Customers are responsible for following recommended care guidelines to maintain the condition, appearance, and longevity of their products.

Wear and Tear

All Paws Atelier products are designed for everyday use under normal conditions.

As with all pet accessories, normal wear and tear and natural material ageing are expected over time. This may include surface marks, softening of detail, stretching, or changes in finish depending on use, environment, activity level, and handling.

Normal wear and tear does not constitute a fault and does not qualify for replacement or refund.

Product Use, Safety & Supervision

All Paws Atelier collars, leashes, treat pouches, charms, and accessories are designed for everyday use and durability when used responsibly.

It is the pet owner’s responsibility to regularly inspect all products for signs of wear, tear, or damage. Discontinue use immediately if any part of a collar, leash, accessory, or hardware becomes damaged or compromised, as continued use may pose a safety risk.

Our products are not intended for extreme conditions, including but not limited to:

• Excessive or forceful pulling
• Chewing or destructive behaviour
• Heavy-duty or high-impact activities

Always ensure a proper fit to prevent discomfort, strain, or escape. Pets should be supervised at all times while wearing accessories, particularly if they are prone to pulling, chewing, scratching, or rough play.

Paws Atelier is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from improper use, neglect, lack of supervision, failure to inspect or maintain products, or use outside of intended conditions.

All accessories are not toys and are not intended for chewing or rough play.
Pet safety should always be a priority.

Sizing Responsibility

Where products require sizing (such as collars or accessories), customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements.

All measurements are taken manually, and due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations may occur.
A minor variation of up to ±1 cm is considered normal. In certain designs involving multiple layers, hardware placement, or hand assembly, a variation of up to ±2 cm may occur.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that small measurement differences are possible and do not qualify as a defect.

Decorative Accessories & Identification

Some Paws Atelier products, including charms and decorative accessories, may offer optional personalisation such as a name or contact phone number for decorative or identification-support purposes only.

These items are not intended to replace legally compliant dog identification tags. Dog identification requirements vary by country and region, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.

For example, UK customers should be aware of the Control of Dogs Order 1992, which requires dogs in public places to wear a collar displaying the owner’s name and address.

Paws Atelier cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with local legal identification requirements.

Faults & Returns

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe with clear details and photographs where applicable.

Faults do not include:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse or improper care
• Damage resulting from chewing, pulling, or inappropriate use
• Changes caused by prolonged or heavy use
